Crystal clear turquoise waters in combination with thin white and pink coral sand, create a landscape of exceptional beauty in the west coast of Crete. Elafonisi (Island of Deer) is a small island so close to the beach that one can actually walk there, since the water is very shallow. The area is protected by the environmental network Natura 2000 with millions of visitors every year. Just a few miles before, you should plan to make a stop at the “Chrysoskalitisa Monastery”, where according to tradition one of its 90 steps is made of gold and is visible only to those who are really faithful. A piece of heaven for everyone!
Full description-Duration 8-9 hours
Your private car will pick you up from your hotel at the scheduled time and will lead you directly to the beach. On the way to Elafonisi, we will make a stopover at Agia Sofia Cave for about 20-30 minutes. After that, we will make a stopover at Monastery of Chrysoskalitisa for about 20 minutes. Finally, we will arrive at Elafonisi beach and we will stay on the beach for 3 hours. There is optional stop during the way back for lunch.
